The Pack Is In! Unbagging The Samples For Some Blanks!

• Pyramid Skeme

Just got a few samples of blanks in. I wanted to go with something that had a kinda wide or like, over-sized cut to it for this first run. I'm still gonna be shopping around to differnt brands, but I came across this one, Shaka Wear, and it seemd pretty close to what I was looking for. Now that I've got the actual product in hand, I'm feeling em. Nice amount of weight to the fabric and the cut seems like it's pretty comfortable, which is something I was definitely looking for.

Like I mentioned before, last time I did shirts, I was more in the mindset of 'I want this to be a brand', so I did the dyeing and printing myself. Was even thinking of getting into the Cut-and-Sew game by making my own patterns. But what I'm doing now isn't supposed to be like a fashion brand or a streetwear company or anything like that. It's just me, as an artist making T-shirts. So I'm just gonna focus on the print designs and kinda leave the T-shirt cut and color to the brand that makes em. Shaka Wear seems to know what they're doing so I'm probably just gonna leave that to them, at least for this first run that I have in mind. For subsequent runs, it's gonna depend on the designs I've got in mind and whatever blanks they work best on, so we'll see. It's possible I could end up doing some custom dye jobs though, but it's just gonna depend. We'll see where it all goes.

So yeah, not trying to gate-keep. I don't plan on cutting their tags out and trying to pretend like I had the shirts custom sewed or anything like that. Anyway! Guess I better to work on getting the designs ready to print up!
