So as you probably know if you've been seeing my social media posts, I've been working on building out a store for this site. My main goal was to have everything be self hosted and contained, so just like this blog, the email signup forms, contact form, and the music player, I didn't wanna rely on a third party platform for the store. The reason I say this is a soft launch is because I'm only selling my digital downloads for now, but very soon I will be selling physical copies of my upcoming album along with some T-shirts... and maybe some other stuff! Of course, I'll keep you all posted on that but it's gonna be a much bigger rollout!

Now, there's one small caveat to the completely 'self hosted and contained' thing. You can't process payments without a payment processor, so there's no way I could have really done that part self-hosted or using any open source technologies. Because of that, I just went with Stripe. This means, you can rest assured that any purchases you make are handled with the utmost saftey because Stripe is a multi billion dollar company and aren't gonna let any weird shit slip through the cracks.

So you can sleep easy when you make any purchases on this site because I never save your card or payment information anywhere here. As a matter of fact, it never even passes through my server, it goes directly to Stripe. The only thing I save on my server is your shipping address so that I can fulfill your order. But of course, this site uses TLS (Transport Layer Security). You can tell by the 's' in https:// in the address bar, but don't worry, your browser will defintely not even let you even visit a site that's just http nowadays), so any interaction you have with this site is completely encrypted. Also! Any personal information that you send while interacting, for example, your email address when signing up to my mailing list, or sending a message via my contact form, or your shipping address is encrypted before being saved so if I ever got hacked (which is not gonna be easy because of other precautions I've taken), your data is still safe.

So yeah, not a whole lot up on the shop right now but I'd really appreciate your support if you'd like to buy anything from me! More to come soon!
